Smatfilms came to us in need of a logo that not only encapsulated Rob Smat’s passion for filmmaking, but also extended that same sentiment to moviegoers. The logo needed to capture the viewers’ imagination, evoking a sense of escapism that so often comes while watching an effective film. Flaks Studio was more than up for the challenge. Through the use of nostalgic imagery and modern type treatments, all wrapped within a sleek badge style, we created an illustrative logomark that evokes a sense of old-meets-new. The final logo is a mark that captures the grandness of cinema and highlights Smatfilms as a studio whose content truly transports viewers.
